Primax Electronics Ltd. (TWSE: 4915) today announced its consolidated revenue for February amounted to NT$3.23 billion, a 29% year-over-year (YoY) decrease. For January through February, Primax’s cumulative consolidated revenue reached NT$8.65 billion, up 0.8% YoY.

Primax’s February sales revenue was impacted by less working days due to Chinese New Year holidays. The company expects that March sales revenue will likely rise robustly sequentially.

Primax’s 3 senses in 1 integrated solutions (vision, audio, and interface technologies) shall benefit from edge computing and AI trend. Primax new businesses such as Public Safety, AIoT (B2B) visual soltuions and automotive segments shall increase revenue contribution in 2H24. Combined with edge computing applications, Primax offers a variety of cutting-edge solutions, aiming for innovative cross-industry applications. Furthermore, thanks to rising AI PC shipment in 2H24, information related products demand shall be triggered.

Primax is committed to high dividend policy. To provide reasonable return for shareholders,  Primax board proposed cash dividend of NT$4 per share with dividend payout ratio of 73% for 2023. Both cash dividend and dividend payout set the record high of the company.
