Primax Electronics Ltd. (TWSE: 4915) today announced its consolidated revenue for July was NT$5.01 billion, which is an 8.6% month-over-month (MoM) decrease. For January through July, Primax’s cumulative consolidated revenue was NT$35.76 billion, a 21.5% year-over-year (YoY) decrease.

With the impact of consumer sentiment, demand for PC-related products and audio products is experiencing a slowdown. However, Primax has actively improved its operational capabilities in recent years and diversified into high-value-added applications.  Primax is expected to benefit from the growing trend of AI surveillance, which includes passenger safety, law enforcement safety, transportation safety, campus & community safety, and broader & access control. Furthermore, automotive electronics (ADAS/AVAS) and AR/VR/MR products will continue to inject new growth drivers for the company. To remain competitive in the rapidly changing market, Primax will continue to focus on enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening cost control, implementing risk management, and maintaining a robust operational performance.
