August consolidated revenues were $5.93 billion

Primax Electronics (4195 TT/4915.TW) announced today NT$5.93 billion in consolidated revenues for the month of August. This represented a 3% increase on the NT$5.75 billion in July, and was the second highest monthly revenue reported by the company this year.

According to Primax, COVID-19 restrictions on consumers' everyday activities meant upgrades to everyday items used in home office and there was a surge in demand for entertainment. Home entertainment and audio systems in August that is expected to last into the 4th quarter.

The management emphasized their absolute confidence in continued business growth for the next two quarters. Profit structure and margins are expected to increase markedly compared to the first half of the year. Once the COVID-19 situation improves, new projects from commercial and industrial applications will also generate a new wave of growth for the company.
