To support the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Ministry of Agriculture’s “Restoring the Force”plan, Primax has officially committed to the ecological restoration project of Butterfly Valley in Taoyuan Village, Yanping Township, Taitung. This marks a significant step in promoting ESG-focused sustainable agriculture and biodiversity conservation.

With the challenges posed by climate change and changes in land use, the global ecological environment is under severe threat. Biodiversity is not only the cornerstone of the natural world’s stability but also directly impacts agricultural productivity and sustainable social development. As a company specializing in core technologies for visual, audio , and interfaces, we aim to leverage technological innovation to drive environmental protection. By supporting the ecological restoration of Butterfly Valley, we apply advanced technology to ecological monitoring and data analysis, providing scientific backing for species conservation and habitat restoration.

The Ministry of Agriculture has facilitated valuable cross-sector collaboration, integrating resources from the Agricultural Research Institute and the Biodiversity Research Center. Over the next three years, Primax will focus on the following key initiatives:

  • Ecological Monitoring and Protection: Utilize our core technologies to assist in ecological observation and data collection in Butterfly Valley, supporting habitat protection for butterflies and other species.
  • Pollinator Plants and Crop Preservation: Promote the restoration of pollinator plants while safeguarding traditional crops such as millet and quinoa, ensuring the continuity of Indigenous agricultural heritage.
  • Food, Agriculture, and Ecology Education: Partner with local Indigenous elementary schools to host educational activities, helping the next generation understand the importance of natural resources.
  • Eco-Tourism Development: Develop eco-friendly tourism models that integrate Indigenous culture and natural resources, creating both economic and social value.

Cross-Sector Collaboration for a Sustainable Future

We firmly believe that a company’s success is inseparable from the support of society and the environment. The Butterfly Valley Restoration Project is not just a way to give back to society but a crucial strategy for achieving sustainable business operations. Through this collaboration, we aim to enhance the ecological health and cultural richness of Taoyuan Village, setting an ESG benchmark for all of Taiwan.

Primax will continue working closely with the Ministry of Agriculture and local partners, contributing resources and expertise to achieve the dual goals of ecological conservation and economic prosperity. Together, we aim to create a sustainable future and make a meaningful contribution to global sustainable development.
